Why are awards so important to Forever?

In the book Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion, author Robert Cialdini describes the 6 principles that influence behaviour - Reciprocation, Commitment & Consistency, Social Proof, Authority, Liking and Scarcity. Winning awards comes under both the Social Proof and Authority categories.

As individuals, we’re influenced by third party endorsements. They help to build credibility and trust in the brand and its products. Whether somebody is a consistent Forever customer, or a potential new customer, being able to mention that our products are recognised on a national and global level by huge awarding bodies is a huge selling point!

Winning an award is no easy task. Our products have to qualify for their category and go through the rigors of the judging panel and testing. Not only that, but they must stand up next to large recognisable brands, both household names and more luxury, exclusive brands. All of this means that being shortlisted is a huge achievement, showcasing the high quality and efficacy of our products. Winning is the cherry on top, acting as a ‘stamp of approval’ from the third part awarding body.

Pure Beauty Awards 2021

We were delighted to be able to attend the Pure Beauty Awards 2021 on Thursday 28th October to celebrate three of our products making it to the shortlist! The Pure Beauty Awards is in its 20th year, and it was the fifth consecutive year Forever’s products have been shortlisted! It was a sold-out evening, hosted by Ru Paul UK Drag Queen star Cheryl Hole and featuring 430 shortlisted products across 39 categories.

The products we had shortlisted were:

Aloe Jojoba Shampoo for Best New Hair Product.

Hydrating Serum for Best New Premium Anti-Ageing Product.

Up against some of the best and biggest names in the industry, even making it to the shortlist is a huge indicator of Forever’s quality and standing, so we’re incredibly proud of our achievements.
